Sirius TM Offers solutions for all these common conditions:

1. IPL Hair Removal

Safe, effective hair removal

Ellipse uses short, safe bursts of intense pulsed light (called Selective Waveband Technology by Ellipse, but often referred to as a laser) to remove unwanted hair from all body sites in minutes, delivering results that will last for years.

How does Ellipse treatment work?

A thin layer of gel (similar to ultrasound gel) is applied to your skin before treatment, to ensure the maximum amount of light enters the skin.

The Ellipse applicator is pressed against the chosen skin area and a carefully controlled pulse of visible light is released.

Potentially harmful wavelengths and wavelengths that only heat up water in the skin are removed using patented Ellipse Dual Mode Filtering.

The remaining light is absorbed by pigment (melanin) in your hair. Melanin converts the light into heat, which travels down the hair and heats the hair matrix, preventing future hair growth.

2. Photorejuvenation (Sun-damaged skin)

Want to keep a young and fresh look?

Our skin ages due to sun exposure and decreased production of collagen. Ellipse treatments of sun—damaged skin (Skin Rejuvenation or Photo rejuvenation) help you keep a younger and fresher look.

How does Ellipse treatment work?

Ellipse treatments of sun-damaged skin make your skin look smoother by diffusing redness, removing age spots and other uneven pigmentation.

Your skin texture is also improved, and many women report that it becomes easier to apply makeup. Facial treatments are most popular, but all parts of the body can be treated.

To do this, short, safe bursts of intense pulsed light (called Selective Waveband Technology by Ellipse, but often referred to as a laser) are directed at the skin.

The system filters the light to ensure the wavelengths used are absorbed by haemoglobin in the fine blood vessels and melanin in the age spots.

When cells containing a lot of melanin or haemoglobin are treated, the target heats up and is destroyed within a few thousandths of one second.

3. Acne

At some point in our lives, we all get acne

How acne develops?

Our bodies produce a hormone called androgen, which stimulates our sebaceous glands to produce an oily substance called sebum. An overproduction of sebum can block pores, trapping the oil.

Skin bacteria (P. acnes) that feed on and break down sebum also become trapped, and the mixture of hair protein, sebum, and fatty acids produced by the bacteria irritate the walls of the hair follicle causing inflammation.

How does Ellipse treatment work?

Ellipse treatment reduces the blood supply to the sebaceous gland, slowing down the production of sebum. The light can kill some of the P acnes bacteria directly.

To do this, short, safe bursts of intense pulsed light (called SwT® technology by Ellipse, but often referred to as a laser) are directed at the skin.

The system filters the light to ensure the wavelengths used are absorbed by haemoglobin in the fine blood vessels that supply the sebaceous glands.

4. Facial Thread Veins

Are you embarrassed by red vessels on your face?

You no longer need to worry about your facial thread veins. These thin vessels (called telangiectasias) around your nose or on your cheeks are small blood vessels near the surface of the skin, which are often formed from sun— exposure and can sometimes occur in an area of more general redness.

How does Ellipse treatment work?

Short, safe bursts of intense pulsed light (called SWT° technology by Ellipse, but often referred to as a laser) are directed at the skin. The system filters the light to ensure the wavelengths used are absorbed by haemoglobin in the blood in your problem vessels.

The light is converted to heat, which destroys the protein in the wall of the thread vein, causing the veins to gradually disappear after treatment. To ensure the best light transmission, a thin layer of gel (like that used in ultrasound examinations) is applied to your skin before treatment.

FAQ

What is IPL Hair Removal?

IPL stands for intense pulsed light. It offers numerous advantages and can be utilized in a variety of ways.

It is most typically used to eliminate hair and spider veins, but it can also be used to improve skin texture and pigmentation, minimize acne, and even remove certain signs of sun damage.

How does IPL work?

A handheld flashgun is used to pass a spectrum of light across the skin, targeting the melanin. Light passes through the epidermis until it reaches the hair bulb or root.

The maximum concentration of melanin can be found here. The bulb and the hair are heated when the light is absorbed, killing the papilla that creates the hair.
